Peter Vestinos currently serves at the President of the Chicago USBG and Beverage Manger at The Betty in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. With over 14 years of experience in the bar and restaurant industry, Vestinos has worked at all levels of the business including behind the bar, distribution, supplier and consultant.

Vestinos was a leader in Chicago’s cocktail revolution with the opening of the Michelin-starred Sepia in 2007, designing a beverage program that garnered local and national attention. From Sepia he was recruited as the Beverage Development Director for Wirtz Beverage Group, one the nation’s leading luxury and premium beverage alcohol wholesalers. In 2010, Vestinos relocated to San Francisco as West Coast Sales and Marketing Director for Death’s Door Spirits and worked to build the Madison, WI based craft distilleries presence in major west coast markets including SF, LA, Las Vegas, and throughout Northern California.

The BarMedic was established in 2011 to provide consultation for the development and implementation of cocktail and beverage programs, training of bar teams, spirit category education, bar design, and brand strategy and events.
