Indulgent creamy mouthfeel but not too sweet, with a great balance between the port and the calvados

So. the drink in the image is pale. I made this last night and the ruby port tinged the entire cocktail mauve. It wasn’t off putting, and even looked more ‘Christmasy’ - but I’m curious how you keep it pale.
