Lovely drink, looks and sips like a very boozy red jolly ranchers (the old school square ones), there’s some kind of alchemy that happens between the banana and absinthe. For my sins I used brown crème de cacao, still got a beautiful blood red presentation - would work well on a Halloween party menu. Was precariously full in my Nick and Noras though, coupette was a more comfortable fit.
Also Cacao infused Campari is pretty great in its own right - used the leftovers along with leftover coffee bean infused vermouth from the also excellent Milk and Co Dale Cooper cocktail to make a lovely mocha Negroni.
