My chief complaint is the design of the mouth of the bottle, which I find makes it very hard to pour small quantities without spillage. Certainly at the start of the bottle.
I like the traditional shape despite its shortcomings. Old Duff Genever also uses a similarly shaped bottle, and I'd like to see more genever brands honouring tradition.
Agreed, the bottlr aesthetics are great and look very well on my drinks trolley. The Old Duff seems to pour better as the lip is more finely chiselled. I had to pay the import duty on the Old Simon myself so every millilitre counts! A head to head tasting the other evening was most pleasant, not to say instructive 😊
