Rum Stone Sour
A great sour with one rum, but perhaps try a split base of rums

Made this using 35 ml Appleton Signature and 15 ml Smith and Cross. Awfully nice.

Not unpleasant, but a little boring made with Bacardi Gold. I might revisit it with a more flavorful rum.

This cocktail was great. Made one with sugar syrup and the other with homemade grenadine. Prefer the grenadine - gave the cocktail a little more colour.
Next time we will substitute the sugar syrup for passion fruit liqueur to give it a more tiki/tropical flavour without the sweetness of most tiki cocktails.

Delicious! Works beautifully with blood oranges as well if you have them on hand.
