Loved the cocktail. Used a Mandarine flavoured Vodka. Made it to the recipe and it was great. Did find it just a tad sweet. After tasting, we added a dash of orange bitters. It slightly intensified the bitter flavour and lessened the sweetness. Perfect for an aperitif or afternoon sipper.
To your point (with which I agree), Anon, I found this to be a step in the right direction: 50 ml orange vodka, 20 ml triple sec (Giffard's), 10 ml Campari, 30 ml orange juice (navel).
