I recently enjoyed Canadian Club at a private club event and had a great experience. It’s a smooth, easy-drinking Canadian whisky with light grain notes, a hint of vanilla, and a gentle spice finish. It’s not too strong or smoky, which makes it perfect for a relaxed evening. The bottom of that label says, "whiskey" in Japanese. Perhaps the label was for a Japanese market bottle.

The current bottles of "1858" have the year moved closer to the bottom, with the brand name in the middle. I suspect merely a labelling change in their "1858" product.

Which version of Canadian Club is this? I have never ever seen this bottle even in internet searches!

Interesting. The image looks almost identical to the bottle in front of me, other than the word ‘oaky’ has been replaced with ‘refreshing’ and 37% abv.
