Good taste, but in my opinion with too much bitter undertones. It could be necessary to adapt cocktails.

#Simon: The label on the bottle says dark rum, but on this site it is sorted in the jamaican-style category. What is the exact difference?

This rum has a touch of funk. Any aged rum could be described as being "dark" compared to a "white" unaged or charcoal-filtered rum. Really dark = "Black" rum e.g. Goslings.

Are there any other examples of this kind of rum? Not there's anything wrong with Myers's.

I'm sure there are, but I've not yet encountered them. Please comment here with an alternative if you find one.
