Really good! I added a dash or two of orange bitters which really brighten the drink. I might try it again with an expressed orange peel.

Made this with 8 Year Appleton and Smith and Cross but without the Daiquiri Bitters. To me the flavor was a mix of a Mai Tai and cola with a faint strawberry jam aftertaste. Pretty good! Ill have to try again with the bitters.

Interestingly I almost taste notes of chocolate and raspberries with this drink. I used Old Foresters 100 proof.

I tried the drink with the 12.5ml of simple but it was too dry for my liking. I found it much better with the original 3/4oz of simple; in my case I use 2:1 simple.
