I was curious also so measured tonight as I made the Bluff cocktail with Velvet Falernum, and while delicious, I found it a tad sweet. I was thinking Diffords Falernum might work better. Anyway, I measured the Brix of Velvet and it came in at 43 (It's 11% Alcohol). Not sure how noticeable a difference using 40 Brix would be, but would love to compare!
