Wonderful! I think the Cointreau really is the key to this drink. I wonder how it would taste with a cheaper triple sec? I have to test that, but not tonight. Tonight I am delighted to sip on this. "Tart becomes cleansing" the review says. I second that emotion!
Used a Barbados amber rum instead of a silver rum. Omitted the sugar syrup to reduce the sweetness. This was wonderful. A bit like a daiquiri, but I would suggest to experiment with various types of rums. Great cocktail.
45ml aged rum
30ml cointreau
15ml lemon juice

it was quite nice but i prefer a between the sheets. maybe i should try this version but my gosh there are so many drinks to make.
