A L'Ancienne du Bois (A woody Old Fashioned)
Despite the name, this Old Fashioned style drink is more fruity and nutty than it is woody, but it's tasty all the same

Used black walnut bitters instead, found it very tasty!

I used only two cherries and some of the syrup, accidentally overdid it on the maple and had to increase the cognac, but overall very good -- sweeter and fruitier than my usual -- and will be better next time.
