Note that unlike the current picture, you probably want more foam on top, which you should get from properly shaking passion fruit purée.

Also note that originally no lime belongs in a Porn Star martini, the passion fruit itself already provides enough tardness (said Douglas Ankrah who invented the Porn Star Martini)

I drank Porn Stars in both LAB and Townhouse, the latter made by Douglas. In later years he and most others used passion fruit puree but originally the Porn Star was made with fresh passion fruits, as per the recipe in Douglas' own 2004 book. I very much hope he was sponsored by Funkin as he was a great ambassador for passion fruit puree and his cocktail continues to be a massive driver of its sale. My earliest notes have the Porn Star made with lime juice and that remains my preferred recipe. A high-quality passion fruit puree works well in place of fresh fruit, but either way, I prefer with lime juice.

@SimonDifford Not saying you are wrong, I have never been at Townhouse or LAB not have I met or chatted with Douglas, but I did check multiple interviews with him and in all of them he shows to do it with puree and without lime, and he even remarks that lime does not belong and puree is essential. I do not know why we have a different recipe. Personally I think the recipe I posted is true to his recipe, based on these sources which seem pretty convincing, so I think there should be no lime, and you need puree.

Douglas' original recipe was made with fresh passion fruits and not puree - I've added the recipe from his book above. I was drinking these at both Townhouse and LAB and the recipe I have from those days includes lime juice.
