Fruity, esp. (obviously) blackcurrant berries, the berry notes fade and the fruity notes of the cognac take charge. Sweet vermouth is noticable at this point, and blends harmoniously with the brandy. The Earl Grey, IMO, serves to extend the cocktail, separating the flavors to allow for better enjoyment, with the tea itself modestly adding some complementary notes to the brandy.
