Built exactly as specified. Orange on the nose, slightly sweet on the tongue with a pleasingly bitter / smokey finish on the back palate. Very well balanced and quite enjoyable. It’s interesting how the typically peppery notes of the Vago Elote Mezcal are tamed and it tastes a bit more smoky in this cocktail. Delicious!

This is absolutely superb - worth making the honey syrup just for this cocktail. The balance of smoky, bitter, citrus and sweet makes for a cocktail that is entirely unexpected. May be a new favourite!
