Mastiha (which after all is a botanically flavoured spirit) combines wonderfully with gin and dry vermouth. A splash of ouzo adds a touch more Greek personality
Made without the Ouzo but thoroughly enjoyed. Nice to find a new use for the increasing dusty bottle of Mastiha at the back of my cupboard.

Finally a use for all the Ouzo and Mastiha I drunkenly purchased in Greece. This cocktail drinks like a spiced holiday martini, so great timing stumbling onto this one. I was a little heavy handed with the Vermouth, but my taste buds appreciate the sweetness. Thanks for the cocktail recipe!
