This turned out really well. I used Ardbeg 10 (and I know that's sent at least 1 single-malt lover into a frenzy), but I wanted to try this out with a more strongly-flavored scotch. I also used Vernor's ginger ale, which is all I had, with the result that the drink is quite sweet and less ginger-y than it would be otherwise.
