Slightly too sweet for me - but an absolute winner if you drop the sugar syrup to 10ml (and add in home made gorse bitters, but you might not have those hanging around)
I liked this a lot better when I put in some mezcal. Instead of 2.5 ounces of tequila, I used 1.5 ounces tequila and .75 ounces of reposado Xicaru mezcal. This is something I will be putting into my regular rotation of drinks.
