From first day it was just classical Gyn Tonic with 7-10 ml mint liquor

Whatever cocktail was made by Emil Saliani in 1997 at Cafe Albena Kyiv in Ukraine, the Caruso Cocktail, comprising equal parts gin, dry vermouth, and green crème de menthe, was published in the Savoy Cocktail book 67 years earlier. That is an unarguable fact!
