I began drinking with tiki drinks and have eaten at many Don the Beachcomber restaurants. I also live in San Diego, home of one of the last great tiki bars and restaurants in California, Bali Hai (Where Mr. Bali Hai is named after). This is very, very strong, but wonderfully balanced and very easy to drink. Not as sweet as most tiki based drink. We did not have the barrel glass, but used our vintage Aku Aku tiki god mugs. Outstanding.
