FWIW I went with my last slug of M47 for this and effing loved it, although tbf I am slightly worried I'm turning into one of those Monkey 47 cultists... been a bit of a phase.

We're soon to put live a major upgrade of our Cocktail Builder software which among other things will allow you to choose which gins in Your Ingredients you apply to each cocktail. This should eliminate this issue. I want to recommend rather than inflict my brand choices on others.

Thanks for the tip, Simon. I didn't realise that the "my ingredients" section influences how recipes are displayed. I'm still confused, though, because I have many gins listed here, and Monkey 47 is definitely not the most recent addition. There's actually a chance it was the first I added. I certainly hope the recipes I see aren't all distorted this way!
In any case, I can attest to its making a truly vile version of this cocktail.

Rutte Dry Gin is my own default gin so Monkey 47 is only showing for you in this cocktail due to it being the only or last gin you've added to "Your ingredients". The brands in our recipes change to account for your own personal preferences.
