Paloma's original answer to Peter should have said that there isn't a single-serve version of this batched cocktail. This batched recipe isn’t intended or billed as being a batched version of recipe No.1247 Sweet Manhattan. They are different cocktails, both broadly with a 2 parts whiskey to 1 part sweet vermouth.

Ah, I had failed to note the 'broadly with a 2 parts whiskey to 1 part sweet vermouth' proportions. It all makes more sense now. Thanks.
