Absolutely LOVED reading the story behind this cocktail recipe. Thanks to Baragau Robert for sharing this with us :) I didn't have rhubarb bitters, so I used grapefruit bitters...which seemed appropriate for a Paloma-inspired drink. Granted, I used different brands for the tequila, umeshu & apricot liqueur than described above...but (for me) the umeshu took over the drink & muted the other flavors. I really enjoy the taste of umeshu, but would like this drink to be more balanced. Might try adjusting the ratios next time.
