Distilled in a Coffey still, this Japanese whisky is made predominantly from corn with a little malted barley and is matured for an average of 12 years...
Very smooth with notes of biscuits, subtle fruit (banana, pear, ...), light rum-like spice and vanilla. May be an option for those of us who, in the current political climate or due to tax wars, try to find alternatives to Bourbon.
Unfortunately, it seems it currently isn't in the database to be selected in cabinets or as a favourite in recipes?
Hi Ben. This is because no one has used a Japanese Grain Whisky in a cocktail recipe. If you were to upload a recipe with such a whisky and set it to public, then this category should become available in Cabinets, etc. With so many categories in our database that don't appear in recipes, we keep the Cabinet easy to navigate by displaying only ingredients actually used in recipes.
