Strike the right balance and there's a note reminiscent of cola. A tad too heavy on the cassis or not quite enough dilution and that cola note turns Ribena-like

I do a 90ml vermouth/15ml cassis/120ml soda method. You're right it does taste like cola when the proportions are done right.

A very underrated cocktail using simpler spirits/liqueurs
