Yes, we did a 4:3 split of the gin and cordial (Morgenthaler's) and enjoyed it very much. But perhaps the original is a 50:50 split?

Yeah, the original was equal parts. In this rendition, I prefer it as a 1:1.5 part cocktail. I do 30ml lime cordial, 45ml gin, stirred and served straight up. This proportion apparently comes from the back label of the bottle of Rose's Lime Juice.

We did it according to your (Roses') split. It was good. We liked it being a bit gin forward. Cheers.
