Founded in 1798 and formerly known as Ledaig, Tobermory Distillery is the only Scotch whisky distillery on the Hebridean island of Mull, Scotland. The distillery has known several periods of closure and changes of ownership. It was one of the distilleries owned by the fated CL Finance and now comes under the Burn Stewart portfolio for Africa’s Distell Group.

Whisky produced by the distillery is used in Burn Stewart blends such as Black Bottle and as Tobermory single malt. The distillery also produces a small amount of peated whisky under the distillery’s former Ledaig name.
