Not my favourite. It's not the proportions, it's just sort of a one-dimensional drink I find.
For some reason, Difford likes to use Vida for their mezcal based last word variations. I personally would use something a little more worthy. Doesn't have to be expensive, but Vida is sort of one dimensional.
Traditionally speaking, rye is king of you ask me. But, if you're using bourbon there are ones with a high percent of rye (Bulleit).
One of my favourites. Although I wouldn't use Vida. It deserves better.
