Needs to be thoroughly stirred and consequently diluted, otherwise it gets a bit stickily sweet as it looses the chill.

I think the sky blue colour is essential. So maybe a little bit to much violets. Thinking about substituting it with Blue Curaçao. But then maybe loosing the complexity and the sport.
Simple and subtle. I used standard vermouths and think more exotic brands will make a big difference. Not necessarily for the better, but exciting to try.
