I suggest looking for a local distillery. In North Carolina our craft distilleries are amazing (also props to the many, many, many independent breweries). I have a favorite that’s in the mountains, because of their access to so many ingredients provided by nature their fernet and amaros are stellar. I hope you have access to anything local, it’s so worth it.
