Distillerie Neisson was founded in 1931 by brothers Adrien and Jean Neisson and is still family owned and operated. Run by Mrs Neisson Vernant and her son Grégory, who is the Master Distiller. Neisson is the youngest distillery on Martinique and is the only distillery on the island not to close during either World War I or II.

Positioned on Martinique's northwest coast, Distillerie Neisson has a copper, single-column continuous still.
