Review

Callooh Callay was inspired by the nonsensical poem 'Jabberwocky' by Lewis Carroll and the Mad Hatter decor and cocktails found here make for a refreshing change to your A-typical Ditch venue.

A first glance this place is tiny with a hand full of tables and a small bar counter. But in true Looking Glass style all is not what it first appears. Look for the blown up vintage photograph of J.G. Woods on the back wall. Is he a great explorer? No he was a shoe shop owner but a great man none-the-less and great grandfather of one of the owners.

To the left of J.G. Woods is an oak Narnia wardrobe and through whose doors lies a further lounge, a mirrored bar and loos completely tiled in old cassettes.

Cocktails here are made by a highly experienced team so expect great things. A characterful little bar which is filled with characters.
