A new speakeasy which has joined the Bristol scene by Richard Tring, to gain entry you'll need to pick up a rather seedy-looking pay phone on the street and press a large friendly yellow button. Once inside you'll understand the bar's name.
Despite appearing originally as a brothel - complete with a neon sex sign and arrow - the venue is actually quite tranquil and clean, dispensing with its alter ego once you're down the stairs.
There are elegant chaise lounges and couches as well as limited setting around the bar. Here a decent spirit selection is on display and the bar team are among the city's finest. Cocktails are well-made, balanced and moreish and we were impressed with both the classics as well as the bar's more innovative recipes.
Best off later in the evening, this bar may have a gimmicky entrance but it's a well designed affair and smoothly run.
