Located in the Langham Hotel, London, Artesian serves food and inventive cocktails in an opulent setting.
The Artesian is named after the 360 foot artesian well beneath the foundations of the hotel, which supplied the original hotel during its Victorian heyday. Thanks to interior design by David Collins and brilliantly conceived and executed cocktails by some of London's best bartenders, this is one of London's, if not the world's best bars.
The lavish interior combines Chinoiserie and Victoriana with timber chandeliers, imitation rattlesnake-leather flooring and walls decorated with silver-leaf, bevelled mirrors while raised enamel butterfly motifs cover all surfaces. There is no doubting you are in a 5-star hotel but the cocktails and service are 5+stars.
