Description

Bar-Band are re-useable food-grade coloured silicone bottle neckbands designed to stretch to fit any bottleneck.

They are a neater looking and more sustainable alternative to electricians’ coloured plastic insulating tape which has long been used in bars to denote the contents of Store and Pours and glass bottles holding juices and pre-mixes.

Bar-Band was the idea of Mia Matkovic who, with partner Luke O'Meara, developed the concept. They say, “Bar-Bands have a lifespan of up to 10 years, are machine washable, recyclable, non-reactive, non-toxic, and resistant to warping, oxidative deterioration (natural ageing), and extreme temperatures from −40 to 200 °C. They are keen advocates of sustainability and their bands are designed “to reduce the use of paper labels, tapes, and other single-use methods used within the bar trade when labelling or colour coding bottles.”
