The new packaging of this ‘original’ Glenmorangie expression no longer carries an age statement but the distillers still maintain it is aged for ten years in first and second fill American white oak ex-bourbon casks. Glenmorangie is famously distilled in Scotland's tallest pot stills.

Appearance:

Clear, pale golden amber.

Aroma:

Pastry, light honey, creamy butterscotch and blanched almonds with lemon zest, mint and ginger.

Taste:

Honeyed and almost creamy. Zesty lemon, raisins, fudge, butterscotch, ginger and vanilla with spicy oak.

Aftertaste:

Lightly spicy, butterscotch and pear with faint coco and toasted almond.
