It's flavour is very close to Dalwhinnie 15, slightly sweeter and fresher, but also lacking a tad of the depth.

I did try freezing some and it does get a sirupy mouthfeel, but when it's that cold it loses some of the aroma and complexity.
I won't discourage anyone from trying a small amount, but the flavour is obviously better in the normal 15ยฐC - 18ยฐC range.

Quite a fitting name given the extreme fruitiness.
Glenmorangie 10's flavour is far more divisive than most others, so this one you'll either love or hate.
I won't rate it as I personally fall in the latter.
It's still easy to see that it has some strong qualities though, they're just not for everyones palate.

This one is seriously underrated by the users and I know why!

Although you can scrape by with a cheap bottle of Blanco tequila, the same can't be said for Reposado and Aรฑejo... The bottom shelf offerings will more often than not destroy the flavour of a cocktail.

At a bare minimum get the ones made of 100% blue agave. Personally I'm fond of Lunazul Tequila which is in the middle tier.

A real hassle to make with all those ingredients in tiny measures, but the end result is great!

Save yourself some time and make it a double, you'll like it anyway ๐Ÿ˜‰

Tastes a lot better and more balanced than you'd expect with this amount of peated whisky.
In my experience the more expensive peated whiskies tends to not do so well in cocktails.
So for this, I used "For Peat's sake" which is heavy on the smoke, but fairly neutral otherwise 4,5.

This one is easy to make as a great non alcoholic alternative (Wife's pregnant.. ๐Ÿ˜…)
Sub the Calvados with cloudy apple juice and
the Bianco Vermouth with Martini Floreale

It's so great with drinks that sounds a little off with the combination of ingredients, but still manages to excel as a whole.
I did cheat a little and used Dolin Blanc instead of Americano Bianco, but that should be an approved substitute as far as I know.
5/5!

Given the Triple Sec moniker, I was a little worried this was closer to Cointreau than it actually is.
Ferrand is a great Curaรงao and a worthy addition to any bar cabinet.

This one's ideal for those who are unsure if they've got enough hair on their chest to try a proper peated whiskey.
The flavour is slightly thin, but luckily not in the way that it feels watered down.

Not to be the infamous nitpicker... but a dash (which in the case of most bottles except bitters are quite imprecise) is defined as 1 - 1,5 ml.
4 dashes will thus be equal to 5 ml.
In other words, one barspoon which is already used twice in this recipe.
Let's make it thrice ๐Ÿ˜…

The Mezcal used has a lot to say.
Del Maguey Vide de Muertos overpowers the other ingredients 4/5.
So I made an extra with Gusano Rojo (Yes, that's a Mezcal with a worm.. ๐Ÿ˜…) which made for a far more balanced cocktail 5/5.

I enjoy a good sour, but this is the first cocktail I've made on here (of >650) that I felt desperately needed some sugar.
For me, this one just feels off without an extra 1,5 cl of sugar syrup.

It's very nice with a Colada that has a lot more mature flavours than the average sugary goop ๐Ÿ˜….
Given the season, I used Berentsens Juletre (Christmas tree) Gin, which suited the drink very well.

Of course this has a 5+ on here given the name..
Jokes aside ๐Ÿ˜‚, I thought I didn't like Genevers after trying Bols' offering.
Rutte Old Simon Genever is in a completely different league and the high rating is well deserved.
