Garnish:

Half cherry tomato & small basil sprig on rim

How to make:

MUDDLE tomato in base of shaker and then muddle basil leaves. Add other ingredients, SHAKE with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.

1 fresh Cherry tomato (chopped)
4 fresh Basil leaves
1 2/3 fl oz Bacardi Carta Blanca light rum
5/6 fl oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
5/6 fl oz St-Germain elderflower liqueur
1/6 fl oz Sugar syrup (rich) 2 sugar to 1 water

This rum-laced cocktail has attractive savoury flavours with a tangy sourness and floral elderflower.

History:

Created by Robb Collins, Group Head Bartender at London Cocktail Club, London, England, who told us he made it for the 2015 Bacardi Legacy UK Finals. "Inspired by a fictional love story of an American soldier who falls in love with a French Cuban girl called 'Mariposa' during WWII."
