4 fresh Basil leaves
1⅔ fl oz Bacardi Carta Blanca Superior White Rum (37.5%)
fl oz Freshly squeezed lemon juice
fl oz St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur
fl oz Giffard Sugar Cane Syrup (Sirop Sucre de Canne)

How to make:

MUDDLE tomato in base of shaker and then muddle basil leaves. Add other ingredients, SHAKE with ice and fine strain into chilled glass.

Garnish:

Half cherry tomato & small basil sprig on rim

Comment:

This rum laced cocktail has attractive savoury flavours with a tangy sourness and floral elderflower.

Created by Robb Collins, Group Head Bartender at London Cocktail Club, London, England, who told us he made it for the 2015 Bacardi Legacy UK Finals. “Inspired by a fictional love story of an American soldier who falls in love with a French Cuban girl called 'Mariposa' during WWII.”
