A bit too mezcal forward for me- may try again with a mezcal/tequila mix. That said, didn't have cinnamon syrup so went will demerara syrup instead so maybe the cinnamon would have helped
Quite delicious! Went a little light on the simple (15 ml for two). Delightful!
Made with Empress gin for visual effect, stirring in the creme de violet after the shake. It's a bit too sweet for us, maybe reduce the violet to 10ml next time
Crisp and delicious. Almost too easy to drink. One of my favorites!
Agree with the above. Needed some sweetness. Added some honey syrup, split Amaro base Averna and Nonino, and rhubarb bitters and it was quite enjoyable.
Very tasty! Made one with Sazerac rye and one with Jameson. My wife preferred the Jameson; I thought it a little bland and preferred the Sazerac version.
Ran out of mezcal at just the wrong time so made this with 3/4 oz mezcal and 1/4 oz reposado. Also added 1/4 oz Cointreau as the original was a touch too dry for our tastes. End result was quite lovely!
