Ingredients:
1 23 oz Caribbean blended rum aged 3-5 years
12 oz Amaro (e.g. Averna)
12 oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
0.08 oz St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram liqueur
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Nick & Nora glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lime wedge.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. Garnish with lime wedge.

It was just a little unbalanced for me. I tend to like sour drinks but this was a tad heavy on the sour. I added just a teeny bit of grenadine (about 1/8 oz) and another 1/8 oz of allspice, and that was enough to balance it out for me.

Depending on your choice of rum, you might want some simple with this.
