LONE TREE COCKTAIL.

2 Dashes Orange Bitters.
⅓ Italian Vermouth.
⅓ French Vermouth.
⅓ Dry Gin.
Shake well and strain into cocktail glass.
The Lone Tree is repeated in R. de Fleury's 1934 book 1700 Cocktails for the Man Behind the Bar where it is followed by a "Lone Tree No. 2" version comprising equal parts old tom gin and rosso vermouth.
