Glass:

Serve in a Collins glass

Ingredients:
12 fresh Mint leaves
2 fl oz Caribbean blended rum aged 3-5 years
34 fl oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
12 fl oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2 sugar to 1 water, 65.0°Brix)
3 fl oz Soda (club soda) water
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a COLLINS GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of mint sprigs.

How to make:

  1. Gently MUDDLE mint in glass (just to bruise).
  2. POUR other ingredients into glass.
  3. FILL glass with ice.

Garnish:

  1. Garnish with mint sprigs bouquet.

Am I right to assume that "in base of shaker" in step 3. should be "in glass"? I was thinking I could muddle in a shaker and then put in the glass, but I think I would lose too much of the mint.

Simple, delicious and refreshing. What's not to like? We split the Rum 50:50 between Plantation Dark and Hoochery Light White.
