Ingredients:
1 12 oz Caribbean blended rum aged 6-10 years
12 oz Lustau Amontillado Los Arcos Sherry
1 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Nick & Nora glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

DUNLOP COCKTAIL.
1 Dash Angostura Bitters.
1/3 Sherry
2/3 Rum.
Stir well and strain into cocktail glass.

A dry, Sherry forward cocktail. I used Amontillado and it really gave the cocktail the woody/tobacco, herbal flavor typical of the Amontillado. The taste will really vary with the sherry you use.

This is a good aperitivo. I must admit, I am not the biggest fan of sherry, so if you are a fan of sherry, I really think you will like this. Its is nicely dry so perfect for before dinner.
