History:
Adapted from a recipe created by Jason E. Clapham at the St. Edward's MCR at Oxford, England. Originally made with Wray & Nephew overproof rum, Jason told us this cocktail is eponymously named for the Black River runs through the Appleton Estate, where Wray & Nephew is distilled.
