Serve in a Martini glass

Ingredients:
1 oz Rémy Martin V.S.O.P. cognac
1 oz Cointreau triple sec liqueur
34 oz Strucchi Dry Vermouth
34 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
12 oz Egg white (pasteurised) or Aquafaba (chickpea water) or 3 dashes Fee Brothers Fee Foam cocktail foamer
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Martini glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

History:

Perhaps a riff on the Hoop La! Cocktail recipe in Harry Craddock's 1930 The Savoy Cocktail Book. The same book also features two other cocktails with the exact same recipe: the Frank Sullivan Cocktail and Odd McIntyre Cocktail.

HOOP LA! COCKTAIL.
¼ Glass Lemon Juice.
¼ Glass Kina Lillet.
¼ Glass Cointreau.
¼ Glass Brandy.
Shake well and strain into cocktail glass.
