History:

In his 1930 The Savoy Cocktail Book, Harry Craddock includes three cocktails: The Frank Sullivan, Hoop La! and Odd McIntyre, with the same recipe repeated for each. Four years later, in his 1934 book 1700 Cocktails for the Man Behind the Bar, R. de Fleury also uses the same recipe for all three cocktail names. However, I've given each of the three a distinctive recipe, this one by yours truly in December 2025.
