Crossfire Hurricane is a Jamaican rum, blended from rums distilled at four of the island's distilleries, created around the long relationship between The Rolling Stones and Jamaica, and co-founded and owned by the band.
The Crossfire Hurricane name comes from the opening line of The Rolling Stones' 1968 single Jumpin' Jack Flash: "I was born in a crossfire hurricane."
Crossfire Hurricane Reserve is a blend of rums for four Jamaican distilleries combining pot and column distillates, different fermentation styles, aged and unaged components.
Blending across the four distilleries allows funky high-ester rums and tropical-fruity rums to be tempered by softer and more structured rums.
Sampled on 17/09/2026
Clear, deep golden amber.
Eccles cake, roasted pineapple, flambéed banana, crème brûlée, molasses, toasty oak, nutmeg and cinnamon.
Medium to full-bodied with baked pineapple and banana, cinnamon and nutmeg spice, buttery crispy pastry, and toasty oak.
Dry toasty oak, creamy vanilla and gingerbread.
A little age brings elegance to this characterful Jamaican rum, but it hasn't lost its funk!
