Released in March 2012, this is the third 1989 Vintage Balblair release. Matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels it is non-chill-filtered and naturally coloured.

Appearance:
Clear, pale golden with rose gold highlights.
Aroma:
Wonderfully aromatic and fruity with toasted malty green apple skin, baked pear and overripe banana with lemony citrus.
Taste:
Full-bodied and expressive with fruity vanilla tempered by graceful grassy peatyness, charcoal and faint black olives. Garnished with black pepper corns, garam marsala and cinnamon spice.
Aftertaste:
Malty finish with lingering peatyness and lightly spiced toffee apple.
