Appearance:

Clear, blush gold with burnished copper highlights.

Aroma:

Red wine and armagnac-like with strawberry jam, fruit cake, cherries steeped in oily grappa. Water releases dried fruit and nuts.

Taste:

Slightly sweet with pronounced wine and brandy notes, blackened raisony fruit cake, plum jam and faint whisper of struck match.

Aftertaste:

Brandy-like finish with stewed red fruit, fruit loaf and lingering red pepper corns.
