Review and Tasting

Sampled on 19/05/2013

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

Pungent dried fruit – apricots and raisins with some banana and prune. Spicy oak gives structure.

Taste:

Full-bodied and luxurious. Rich dried apricot, raisins and honeyed stewed fruit sit on a complex bed of dry lightly tannic oak and cinnamon spice.

Aftertaste:

Earthy cinnamon spiced oak and toasted raisins. Floral notes are very subdued.
